Product Overview
The KPB5 is a pressed steel offset U-bracket with a stepped profile that allows two frame members to be connected where they sit at different depths or planes. The 32 × 19 mm cranked channel creates a controlled offset between the two fixing faces, making it the right choice for joints where the sections being connected are not flush with each other and a flat or standard U bracket will not bridge the gap cleanly.
It is used in pallet gate frames, warehouse racking assemblies, and fabricated steel structures where depth offsets between members are common — particularly where rails meet posts at different planes, or where clearance is needed around hinges, latches, or adjacent components. Pressed from 3 mm mild steel with pre-drilled fixing holes, it installs quickly using standard bolts or screws without shimming or packing.
